SYNOPSIS

Nena and Drew have just had their wedding when Olivia walks in on them, which means a love triangle and the problem of polyamory. In the troika, everything flows with changes, something is gained and something is destroyed forever. They are all in late puberty, searching for what suits them and what doesn’t and what is attractive chemistry, their ambitions and the essence of life. The film is the debut work of an uncomfortable author who greatly overestimated his strengths and talent, but created something that can be considered the signature of his environment or his generation. However, it is not a drama or a comedy, but an author’s debut experiment of a psychological nature with a special cast and an even more special lack of genre definition between romance and drama, with a specific author’s stamp of a rare theme and a debut effort.

Nena a Drew mali práve svadbu, keď sa k nim votrie Olívia čo znamená ľúbostný trojuholník a problém polyamorie. V trojke plynie všetko so zmenami, niečo sa získava a iné sa navždy zničí.

Všetky hlavné postavy sú v neskorej puberte, hľadajú čo im sadne, a to je niekedy taktiež neurčitá príťažlivá chémia: ich ambície a životná podstata.

Film je debutantským počinom nonkomfortného autora, ktorý však zrejme vcelku značne precenil svoje sily a talent (najmä prísľub bez reality témy plný tézovitých naznačení a zakončenie didakticky moralizátorské; akosi o láske filozoficky bez lásky a vášne). Autori projektu súčasne vytvorili niečo, čo možno považovať za rukopis svojho prostredia či svojej generácie v liberálnych USA.

Nejde však o drámu či komédiu ale o autorský debutantský low-budgetový experiment psychologického a komorne konverzačného rázu – so zvláštnym obsadením aj ešte zvláštnejším žánrovým nevymedzením: medzi romancou a drámou, akýsi manifest so špecifickým autorským puncom zriedkavej témy a debutantského počinu.
