A beautiful young model – the daughter of a good family Bibiane (Marie-Josée Croze) learns to hate HERSELF and questions her existence, financially independent, after a traumatic abortion. At the same time, as an employee of a family network of fashion accessories, she is on the verge of being fired and inadvertently hits an ordinary person who ran into her car. The morning after the death, he learns more about the man who died after a collision with a car. Out of guilt and concern for his victim, he attends his funeral, where he meets. Bibianre meets the only son of the man she killed by Evian (Jean-Nicolas Verreault). They go for coffee together, she accompanies him to the airport, but surprisingly „packs“ him at the last moment. The night is full of passion and in the morning an article will appear in the newspaper about the fact that the plane where her lover was supposed to be crashed and no one survived. The secret of her fate will slowly come to the surface with a dilemma for the two lovers, but she is afraid to reveal her dark secret to him. The existential story is rich in contradictions and twists with specific symbolism – mystical, symbolic, comic and romantic scenes, it has an unusual collective narrator: Norwegian fish exported to Canadian restaurants.

Krásna mladá modelka, ktorá je navyše dcérou z dobrej rodiny Bibiane (Marie-Josée Croze) začína nenávidieť SAMA SEBA a spochybňuje po traumatickom potrate svoju existenciu, finančne nezávislú. Zároveň ako zamestnanec rodinnej siete módnych doplnkových súčastí, a z nepozornosti zrazí obyčajného človeka, ktorý jej vbehne pri nočnej jazde autom. Nezastaví a v panike utečie z miesta činu. Ráno po úmrtí sa dozvie z novín viac o mužovi, ktorý zomrel po zrážke s autom.

Z viny a záujmu o svoju obeť sa Bibianre zúčastní jeho pohrebu. Tu náhodou stretne syna človeka, ktorého usmrtila – Eviana (Jean-Nicolas Verreault). Spolu zájdu na kávu, odprevadí ho následne na letisko, ale na poslednú chvíľu ho prekvapujúco „zbalí“.

Noc je plná vášne. Ráno v novinách vyjde článok o tom, že lietadlo, kde mal byť jej milenec havarovalo a nikto neprežil. Tajomstvo jej osud pomaly vyjde na povrch s dilemou pre dvoch zamilovaný z vášne i zo zúfalstva.

Existenciálny príbeh lásky je plný citov a bohatý na protirečenia a zvraty. Navyše dej je obohatený špecifickou symbolikou – mystické, symbolické, komické i romantické scény, má nezvyklého kolektívneho či „zborového“ hrdinu: nórske ryby exportované do kanadských reštaurácií (pred ich popravou).

Táto severská dráma má atmosféru existenciálnej smršte: nevinne nezrelá prebúdzajúca sa žena, ktorá zisťuje že osud človeka je neistý a chleba má dve kôrky. Zaujímavý rébus dynamicky a invenčne vyrozprávaný je typickou „artovkou pre kultúrne publikum“: movie s vynikajúcim castingom a režijným vedením.
